SBIRT Training

Date: May 9th & 10th

Time: 8:30am registration/ 9am start time

Location: CFLR Large Training Room

Cost: $150 (12-hour training) $45 (4-hour renewal)

Participants will learn:
SBIRT is an evidence-based approach to identifying patients who use alcohol and other drugs at risky levels with the goal of reducing and preventing related health consequences, disease, accidents and injuries. Risky substance use is a health issue and often goes undetected. SBIRT is a comprehensive, integrated, public health approach that provides opportunities for early intervention before more severe consequences occur.

Who should attend:
This 12-hour training will be broken up with a 4-hour renewal training to start. The 4-hour training will be offered for licensed providers including CASAC, CPP, LCSW, LMHC, MD, NP, PA, RN, LPN, Licensed Psychologist, LFT – anyone with a license through State Ed department of Professions & OSAS Certified providers. CARCs, CRPAs, and Care Navigators require the 12-hour training.
Social Workers, Addiction Treatment and/or Prevention Professionals, Case Managers, Residential Providers, Parole and Probation Staff, School Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and others serving individuals with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders, and peers/peer supervisors.

Registration Deadline is Monday, May 7.
