Light of Hope

2020 Virtual Light of Hope Event

"Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all the darkness." - Desmond Tutu

If you have lost someone to addiction, suicide, or other mental health issues, CFLR invites you to purchase a virtual candle in memory of your loved one. The candle can help to bring light into the darkness, renew hope for the future, and ease the pain of grief.

The virtual candle, with the name of your loved one, will remain on the memorial page of CFLR's website during the months of August and September.

Starting on August 31st at 8 PM, Overdose Awareness Day, CFLR will have a live stream displaying all the luminaries that have been lit paying tribute to the memory of your loved one.

Please join us at or on our Facebook page to view the luminaries (from 8/31 to 9/4).

The Proceeds from this years event will go to The Healing Hearts Collaborative in Memory of Kevin Donovan.

**There will be a consent form to give CFLR permission to add your candle messages to our luminary bags on our live stream and have it lit at the coming years' events when we have them live.
