Utica, New York (July 2025) – The Center for Family Life and Recovery, Inc. (CFLR) is proud to offer a free
Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training session on Wednesday, July 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at
the CFLR Utica office: 502 Court St. Suite 401, Utica, NY.
Designed for adults who work with or support young people, this nationally recognized training provides
participants with the tools to recognize warning signs, listen empathetically, and respond appropriately in
mental health situations involving youth.
“Knowledge is power, and support is essential,” said DeQuan Watson, Co-Director of Prevention
Innovation with CFLR. “This training empowers individuals to step in and make a difference when it
matters most.”
